We have completed the acquisition and assembly of a major upgrade to our in-house pressure testing capability. Beacon Scientific now has the capability to perform high-pressure testing up to a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi.

We have acquired a Chronos 1.4 high-speed camera from Kron Technologies. This camera has up to 38,500 fps frame rate allowing Beacon Scientific engineers to capture video of extremely fast phenomena. When trying to demonstrate, understand, and analyze high-speed events, the ability to image the event during laboratory testing can be invaluable.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Anthony (Tony) Bocchichio, P.E. as a new employee of Beacon Scientific. Tony brings over 15 years of forensic engineering experience in mechanical engineering to our team. Tony has a strong background in vehicle accident reconstruction and fire investigation. Beacon Property Holdings, an affiliate of Beacon Scientific, completed the purchase of over 3 acres of undeveloped land in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This property will become the future home of Beacon Scientific once development is complete.

Saunders Engineering Consulting, LLC (D.B.A. Beacon Scientific) has re-organized as Beacon Scientific, LLC. Dr. Jason Kiddy has joined Mr. George Saunders, Jr. in the ownership and management team. Under this new organization, plans are being made to expand and develop our team, services, and expertise while continuing to provide our usual standard of service to all of our existing customers. Our number one goal remains to provide our clients with timely top-notch engineering consulting at reasonable rates.
